Rehabilitation Education
Rehabilitation education bridges clinical recovery and learning so a child does not fall behind while they heal. We design bedside or home programmes that align with rehab goals and any EHCP, working to clinical advice on fatigue, pacing, memory and attention. Sessions are short, structured and interest led, with trauma informed practice and clear targets agreed with the MDT, case manager and family. We integrate therapy recommendations into teaching, build step by step tolerance for cognitive load, and plan graded reintegration to school when appropriate. Safeguarding, risk management and GDPR compliant reporting are standard, with measurable outcomes and regular reviews so progress is visible and decisions are evidence based.
